COMPETITIVENESS FORUM

The Americas Competitiveness Forum is the only annual event in the Americas that brings together more than a thousand representatives from governments, the private sector, academia and international organizations to find joint solutions to common challenges and help foster greater economic competitiveness in the region.

10 PRINCIPLES

Competitiveness and Innovation Authorities, and Councils of the Americas consolidated and approved on October 5, 2011 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic the document Consensus of Santo Domingo. It sets the following 10 General Competitiveness Principles of the Americas to advance toward a more competitive and prosperous region.

HISTORY

The Inter-American Competitiveness Network (RIAC) was established on September 29, 2009 as a result of the Meetings of Ministers and Competitiveness Councils of the Americas that took place under the framework of the III Americas Competitiveness Forum, in Santiago de Chile.
