RIAC Members are divided in three categories:

1. CountriesThe public, private and / or public-private institutions that are responsible for promoting competitiveness in the countries of the Americas. 

The 34 member countries of the OAS RIAC participate in the forums and in Americas Competitiveness are organized once a year.

2. Supporting institutions: multilateral/academic institutions who participate in RIAC meetings and other initiatives. They permanently contribute to the dialogue among countries and other actors involved, offer financial and/or in kind resources for the advancement of various efforts undertaken by the Network.  

3. Partners: institutions/foundations/universities who support the development and implementation of specific initiatives following RIAC’s Plan of Action.

How to become a member?

Institutions interested in becoming a Member of the RIAC should submit a formal letter addressed to Excellency Francisco Cabrera, Minister of the Production of the Government of Argentina and current Chair Pro Tempore of RIAC 2017 - 2019 at

Applications are analyzed and approved at the RIAC Meeting of Ministers, High-Authorities and Competitiveness Councils of the Americas in the context of the Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF). The next ACF will take place at the beginning of 2019 (date to be confirmed).
