The Third Edition of the Academy on Technology Transfer and Commercialization of the Americas is taking place in Mexico
Between March 1 and 11, 2016, 47 participants from 13 countries are taking part in the Third Edition of the Academy on Technology Transfer and Commercialization of the Americas, held in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The objective of this 90-hour course is to train human resources specialized in technology transfer and commercialization, more specifically in the areas of: Intellectual Property, Technology Assessment, Drafting Business Plans, Models for Technology Businesses, Spin Outs; Innovation Funds and Venture Capital. The Academy also seeks to increase cooperation among participants and the sharing of good experiences and even failures in the international context with an emphasis on Latin America.

The 2016 Academy counts on the support of the Organization of American States (OAS), the Northwest Center for Biological Research, S.C. (CIBNOR, Mexico), the University of California in Davis (UC Davis), the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico (CONACYT); the Office of Technology Transfer and its Center for Patenting at CIBNOR, Mexico (OTT / CEPAT); Red de Redes, Red Innovanet, the Network of Technology Transfer Offices of Mexico (REDOTT), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), Bajainnova, Thomson Reuters and Isis Innovation - a research Institute of the University of Oxford.
