This is the Third Edition of the Signs of Competitiveness in the Americas Report and its focused on the VIII Americas Competitiveness Forum’s main theme: “The Human Imagination at Work: Driving Competitiveness, Powering Innovation.”

The Report includes research papers on human imagination, innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity in the Americas; articles and interviews on the current and future challenges on innovation and entrepreneurship in the region and in the world; results and achievements executed based on RIAC’s Work Plan for 2014; and a directory of more than 150 successful experiences from countries and institutions related to the 10 General Competitiveness Principles; and information on initiatives that countries are undertaken in the fields of innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship.

The report was produced by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, as RIAC Chair Pro Tempore 2014 and the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS) as RIAC Technical Secretariat.
